Call for Abstracts

Participants are invited to send short (maximum) one-page abstracts, strictly related to a workshop theme, to . The abstracts are to reach us by 24 October 2003 and those which are accepted, are to be published on the conference website. A restricted number are to be selected on the basis of relevance and interest, for more detailed presentation in the workshop sessions. This will be carried on the basis of consultation with the Commission.

Abstracts are to address the role of foresight in the following themes and in implementing or preparing related actions :

• Publicly funded research futures
• The Private-Public Gap
• The Social Context of Innovation
• The future financing of RTDI
