Meeting the challenges for development of Research, Technology and Innovation Policies for Agriculture

The Conference is addressed to people involved in the development and implementation of the agricultural policy. It will introduce foresight and its advantages as a policy tool. The conference will review main aspects of the Common Agricultural Policy and examine the impacts of the compliance to the Acquis Communautaire. It will also explore the challenges for agriculture in Small Candidate Countries, underlying the priorities of the newly established European Research Area.

The Conference is organised by the Agricultural Research Institute, Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment.

Financial assistance will be available for a limited number of participants from Accession Countries
