The International eForesee Conferences

In addition to these six pilot projects, a series of three international conferences will be organized in the period 2002-2003 on the following themes:

September 2002 in Estonia:	Foresight on Biotechnology in Small Candidate Countries
October 2002 in Cyprus:	Exploring agricultural policy futures for small accession economies in an enlarged EU - Part I
October 2003 in Turkey:	Towards a European Model of Agriculture in the EU25+
November 2003 in Malta:	Exploring the role of Foresight and related policy tools in the development of a Euro-Mediterranean Research and Innovation Area

These conferences are aimed at policy makers and policy researchers from Europe and the EU Accession States, as well as at sector specific experts. Some limited funding is available in particular to help experts from the accession countries to attend these events.
