Dear All,

PREST, an institute within the University of Manchester (UK), is running an international online Delphi Survey seeking the opinions of people engaged in processes that contribute to building a better and fairer world, founded on social and ecological sustainability. The research aims to help businesses to work with higher levels of performance while embracing social responsibility.

Your participation in this research is welcomed, as it will contribute to the sustainable development of businesses. You are invited to take part by answering a global survey located at the following website:

http://les.man.ac.uk/PREST/infoarch/

To access the online-questionnaire directly press the button 'Delphi Questionnaire' at the top menu on the 'Business Sustainability' website. The questionnaire can be completed at your leisure in convenient steps rather than at one sitting; this is recommended. We have provided for this by allowing you to log-out and return to the questionnaire as you wish. This process is explained in the questionnaire.

Useful tips: 1) the questionnaire is composed of 14 different sets of questions (each taking around 5 minutes to complete and accessed by a different button) and you can answer as many of the 14 sets as you wish; 2) to send each set of responses please press the 'send' button at the end of each set of questions; 3) to continue answering the other sets of questions please return to the 'Business Sustainability' website and select the set of questions you would next like to answer; 4) if you have a slow internet connection it would be better to select the 'text-only version' (in the top of each page in yellow).

All the information provided will remain strictly confidential and anonymous.

One of the additional benefits of taking part in the research will be the forging of networks of people that may help provide ways of accessing help to deal with the emerging challenges embodied in sustainable development. To help this network grow, we would greatly appreciate it if you could either send the e-mail contact address of people you think should be part of this network or forward this message to them.

Thank you for completing the questionnaire.

Yours sincerely,

Cristiano Hugo Cagnin
