Report
In preparation for the first Pilot of eFORESEE on Knowledge Futures in ICT and Education which is to be officially launched in June 2002, the Malta Council for Science and Technology organized a pre-Launch Event on the 8th of May, in an effort to help all those interested in the Pilot, in whatever capacity, whether from academia, industry or public sector, to have a better understanding of the project prior to their commitment. The total number of participants attending this event amounted to 46. The main objective of the meeting related to expectations management, i.e. ensuring that the expectations of the stakeholders regarding the outcomes or deliverables from the pilot are realistic and do not exceed what is envisaged and/or feasible.
